FIREWORKS NIGHTMARE part 1…

One dark, cold, fireworks night was a day I will never forget. There’s still things that I don’t understand and why it all happened to me. It started as a normal day in the park, crazy kids burning there energy, adults doing there normal thing gossiping about nothing. I was sitting on the grass with my friend, eating ice cream, watching the birds fly high in the sky. We both felt very tired, but at the same time high on energy I wanted to enjoy the lush hot sun while it lasts. Quite a while later I decided to Finaly do something so I ran over to the swing because everything else is for babies. As The sky got darker one by one people began to leave the park, I thought it was just because the parents had enough or to get ready for the fireworks but I was wrong…

As soon as the clock struck 18:00 I had the whole park to myself my friend had to go for dinner, and he called me once he got home telling me that he thought someone or something had chased him out of the park! I thought it was rubbish, and that he said that for nothing but a scare, but then I started to believe him. About a hour later I heard a faint voice a little girls perhaps, I thought that if  I’d followed the sound I would of found were it came from, but as I got closer, it stopped completely!! At that moment I froze as still as a statue, my hairs on the back of my kneck began  to rise as if something was crawling up my kneck. About 3 seconds later I turned around and I saw a small letter on the floor saying my name, so I opened it and it said “I wouldn’t look at the swings if I was you!” At this point I knew I wasn’t alone but no was there…

  1. Not a bad start, Jimmy. You set the scene quite well and begin to build tension. You will need to finish the piece to a high level of accuracy (still many basic error here). Reading your work through can help.

Have a look at the requirements here:
